What the email is
A founder filled in the form on dubaiangelinvestor.com. The site emailed their answers, and the deck if they uploaded one, to pitches@dubaiangelinvestor.com. The site knows the founder only through what they typed. It does not run a check on the company, the licence, or the cap table.
The founder’s email address is in the body. Use that address if you want to talk. A reply to the notification itself goes to pitches@dubaiangelinvestor.com, not directly to the founder, because that inbox is the Reply-To address.
The From address
Until a sending domain is verified with the email provider, the message may come from an onboarding address at that provider rather than from an address at dubaiangelinvestor.com. The body should still name this site, the founder, and the company. If it does not, treat it as suspicious.
Files are not virus-scanned here. Open an attachment only with the caution you would use for any cold deck.
What you do not owe
You do not have to reply. You do not have to explain a pass. Please do not ask a founder for a fee in exchange for an introduction. That practice is not part of this site.
This site does not publish pitches, and it does not claim to syndicate them to a bought list. What happens after the email arrives depends on the people who read the inbox.
If it looks like spam
Forward it to pitches@dubaiangelinvestor.com with the word “spam” in the subject. It will not be treated as a live opportunity.
